Following recent inspections and findings within the PI/EMI regulated entities, the National Bank has invited all those institutions, as well as their auditors, to a presentation session of the new prudential expectations aimed at reinforcing the compliance of the sector. This vision, transposed into a circular or a communication, has not been discussed with you. The objective of the internal session will be to better understand the reason, decipher the findings and analyze the consequences.
Last week, the National Bank of Belgium informed the payment and electronic money institutions – but also their auditors - of the prudential obligations (corporate, outsourcing, IT, supervision, etc.) that rest on them. The majority of the remarks were made in the context of controls and inspections carried out. The results were often surprising. In order to better understand the ins and outs of this future circular, an internal presentation will take place in order to take into account your possible remarks.
