About this event

Sustainability has become a hot topic across industries, including financial services:

  • The European Green Deal aims to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent in 2050.

  • The EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) requires the integration of sustainability risks into investment decision-making and advisory processes applying to both financial market participants and financial advisers.

  • There are still a lot of businesses applying greenwash advertising showing pictures of windmills and waterfalls without changing their underlying business models.

So where does that bring us today? How are financial services companies responding to these critical changes in the regulatory environment? And how to execute the required transformation successfully?

To answer these questions, LHoFT, Holland FinTech and FinTech Belgium have joined forces to share essential insights on ESG developments in the Benelux. Environmental, social and governance aspects have become such an important topic for our FinTech communities that we have decided to organise 3 different sessions.

In this first digital MeetUp we will mainly focus on the Environmental part. Next meetups will zoom in on the ‘Social’ and ‘Governance’ aspects of ESG.

Our program will consist of a selection of key stakeholders sharing how they achieve lasting impact in their domains, from across the BeNeLux:

Hear from BlackfinBlackrockLabelIRLuxembourg Stock Exchange and Greenomy. More speakers to be announced soon!

Please register free of charge for this online MeetUp. There will be an online networking opportunity right after the webinar.
