Starting January 1, 2026, digital invoicing via the Peppol network will be mandatory in Belgium. The Peppol network already boasts members in 37 countries, and this number is continuously growing. Beyond facilitating interactions with tax authorities and combating VAT fraud as part of the ViDA proposal, electronic invoicing presents incredible opportunities for fintech companies.
