Abbove concludes partnership with Deutsche Bank Belgium

Deutsche Bank trusts Abbove’s wealth planning technology to provide its clients with next-generation wealth management services

Brussels, July 14. Only a month after Abbove shared that it was making its wealth management platform available to banks across Europe, the Belgian WealthTech is now announcing its partnership with Deutsche Bank in Belgium. Starting July 2022, the bank’s private bankers will be using Abbove’s wealth planning platform to offer their clients a complete range of high-quality wealth management services.

The use of the holistic wealth advice technology developed by Abbove keeps increasing in the private banking sector. This year, the company officially concluded a new private banking partnership, this time with Deutsche Bank in Belgium. The bank will use the technology as a basis to grow and strengthen its private banking and wealth management activities for their clients in Belgium.

“Deutsche Bank wants to continue to strengthen its position with private banking clients by meeting their needs in a relevant and comprehensive manner. With this partnership, we ensure that our local estate planning experts and our clients will have access to what is probably the best wealth planning platform in the country, in addition to the global CIO expertise of Deutsche Bank”, commented Olivier Delfosse, CEO of Deutsche Bank in Belgium.

Henceforth, Deutsche Bank’s private banking clients will have the possibility to benefit from the functionalities of the platform developed by Abbove. Among other things, they will be able to collect their important documents in a digital safe, create a structured inventory of their assets and gifts, have access to an organizational chart of their family’s wealth, simulate the evolution of their wealth in time and estimate their inheritance tax with the help of their Estate Planners.

For Abbove, the partnership with Deutsche Bank in Belgium is yet another milestone in 2022. Earlier this year, the company not only changed its name, but also received important international recognitions such as a Wealthbriefing Award for best wealthtech provider in client communication and a mention in the WealthTech100 list recognising the 100 best wealthtech companies in the world.

“Thanks to this new partnership with Deutsche Bank, Abbove is making a step forward in its private banking development strategy. We’re glad to see how our technology can help private banks to scale and professionalize their wealth planning services to better serve their clients”, comments Guillaume Desclée, CEO of Abbove.
