Exciting Times at Money20/20

Money20/20, the premier global fintech conference, concluded with great success, providing a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights and drive innovation. Our team was represented by Alessandra Guion and David Jacob, who engaged in conferences, met key industry players, and seized numerous opportunities.

This year's Money20/20 Europe highlighted pivotal trends and advancements, particularly in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and open banking payments. The rise of AI, especially Generative AI, is revolutionising finance by creating personalised experiences, streamlining processes, and enabling smarter decision-making. It's evident that these two areas are set to play pivotal roles in shaping the future of the financial industry.

The active engagement in Payment, Regtech, and Wealth Tech domains was particularly impressive. The sheer volume of opportunities in these areas has the potential to transform the future of financial services, leading to a new era of collaboration, innovation, and progress. It was thrilling to see these discussions align with our findings from the AI Barometer Report and our upcoming event, the Digital Finance Summit 2024.

We were also excited to reconnect with our esteemed members at Money20/20, visiting familiar faces like Toon Vanagt, Robert Masse, the Paynovate team, Thierry Coopman, Christophe Vercammen, Stefano Girardi, Oper Credits, the Neterium team, Katie McDermot, Pascal Aerens, the FinFlag team, Geoffroy Dupuis, DLA Piper, the Mifundo team, Kaido Saar and Keiu Kalaus, and the Swan team, Kiek Sluijter at their booths.

A heartfelt thank you to the VISA and Tink teams for inviting us to an incredible networking night on Tuesday. EU Networking Event of 20/24: A Great Success!

For its 4th edition, the EU Networking Event, organised by The LHoFT, Fintech Belgium, Holland Fintech, Scottish Development International, Invest Northern Ireland, and Copenhagen Fintech, with the support of The Connector, Coriunder, and Cognito, was a great success! This unique gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and fintech enthusiasts from around the world has become a cornerstone event in the fintech calendar.

Held at TNW - The Next Web City, the event saw the participation of over 160 attendees from the fintech scene, creating a vibrant and dynamic networking opportunity. The night was filled with delicious food, drinks, and an excellent vibe, making it an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Connecting with our friends from the EU and beyond was truly inspiring. The fintech community continues to grow, driven by collaboration and innovation. We are excited about the future of financial services and the opportunities ahead!
