FinTech Lawyers Network (re)loaded
24 March 2022 –The FinTech Lawyers Network is proud to announce its rebranding and new website www.fintechlawyers.com.
Founded in 2016 at Money 20/20 in Copenhagen, the FinTech Lawyers Network (fln) is an international network of dedicated and highly specialized FinTech lawyers capable of handling sophisticated cross-border mandates. The network unifies the very best legal experts in 10 European jurisdictions and advises market players from early-stage start-ups to well established financial institutions. Currently, the fln encompasses lawyers from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, France, Italy, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. All members are introduced here.
Annerton partner Frank Müller from Munich explains the network: “We form a comprehensive network of great lawyers which gives clients access to profound & viable legal advice in all markets relevant for our clients’ growth strategy”. The network provides clients with effective and frictionless assistance on cross-border mandates.
The fln members combine their regulatory expertise with deep and broad experience in both the financial and the technology sector. Their expertise covers a wide array of FinTech related matters such as open banking, alternative finance, payments, fintech contracting, crypto and blockchain, license applications, anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing and outsourcing. Edwin Jacobs, Timelex partner in Brussels, states: “We are very proud of our track-record so far. We advise many of FinTechs on cross-border projects, including heavy-weights such as Block (formerly Square), Accor, Zalando and Solarisbank.”
6 years after its creation, the fln is proud to reveal its new visual identity with the launch of a brand new website. With its modern design, it exemplifies the high-quality of legal work the network provides. At the same time, the website is kept simple which underlines the members’ common goal to provide concise and solution-oriented legal advice. “With its inspiring design, the new website is intended to express our love and passion for FinTech & related legal challenges”, states Aramis Law Firm partner Benjamin May in Paris.
“We already partner with law firms in jurisdictions outside the network’s geographical scope. However, the next goal for the fln will be to expand the network to further key FinTech jurisdictions, to broaden client access to top notch legal advice with the fln as a one-stop shop, whilst participating in the making of FinTech law globally to keep pace of new technologies” says Eleni Tsoukala, Managing Partner at Tsoukala & Partners Law Firm.
