What a week! Fintech Belgium at Singapore Fintech Festival 2022

The incredible Singapore FinTech Festival 2022 is now over and our General Manager, Alessandra Gambrill - Guion was present at #SFF22 where she had such an inspiring week. The Singapore Fintech Festival was an amazing event for expanding the reach of Belgian scale-ups. Singapore being the financial centre of the region, SFF is one of the biggest fintech events in the world creating the bridge between all the regions.

An immense thank you to Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), Nathalie Surmont, Siow Boon Chia, Kim Demeyer, Irene Gan, Carolyn Ng, Doris Wu & Sherlynn D'costa for the flawless organisation of our stand and the immensely valuable introductions. Prior to #SFF22, the visit to innovation labs of DBS Bank and exchange with Serene Koh was very impactful. We had the honour of the visit of Ms.COLETTE TAQUET, the Belgian Ambassador to Singapore.

Alessandra's panel discussion with Marc Braet & Johnny Kok was an excellent opportunity to discuss about Belgium being an amazing place to start expansion into Europe.

We were glad to meet again with our friend Shadab Taiyabi from Singapore FinTech Association (SFA), the highly active local ecosystem and Takeshi Kito from Fintech Association of Japan.

There were some amazing fintechs present on the stand with us including some of our members.
Our present members: Alexander L.C. Stevens from Greenomy, Christophe Vanhoutte from Unifiedpost Group and Marc Braet from Intix.
Other fast growing fintechs on our stand: Johnny Kok from SettleMint, Intigriti and Gary Haran Doyle from Complidata.

Few of our friends were also present: Nasir Zubairi from The LHoFT, GAO Bo, Laurent Nizri from Paris Fintech Forum (Alteir Event), Thomas Krogh Jensen and Sarah Millerton from Copenhagen Fintech.
