What is MISSION42?
MISSION42 is AREA42’s new startup accelerator, which follows a venture building studio model.
The 9-month programme enables entrepreneurial minds and innovators to build our next TradeTech startup - from the ground up!

What will you do?
Simply put, you’ll be building a startup as an entrepreneurial duo* over a period of 9 months. You and your co-pilot will focus on what it takes to create a successful startup that will disrupt and improve B2B trade. Why? MISSION42 want to help make it easier for SMEs to do business with each other.
You’ll dig into all the tasks and activities needed to build a startup. Some of these include:
● Identifying a data-based insight to unlock your trade solution
● validating your insight and its potential market
● asking ‘why’ and ‘how’ many, many times!
● preparing a business plan
● meeting weekly milestones and coaching challenges along the way
● making the new business pitch ready and then pitching it.
Who are we looking for?
Maybe you…
haven’t liked the prospects of a corporate 9-to-5 or climbing the corporate ladder? …have considered a job in consulting to get a bit of a taste of everything? …are destined to launch your startup, but appreciate some security right now? …want to be an entrepreneur but just haven’t pinpointed the right idea yet?
We are looking for resilient doers with a love for learning and discovery. That means you:
● have some experience of being an entrepreneur, or have the intent and passion to become one
● want the challenge of building a trade-changing venture
● thrive on collaboration, teamwork, and coaching
● can work remotely*, full-time, for 9 months
● can travel to Brussels once a month to meet with the team
● can start in April, May or June 2023.
