Start-up Scudi makes an advance on wages

The Belgian fintech Scudi launches its mobile app on the Belgian market. This app allows employers to access their employees give early access to part of the monthly wages earned.
From this week, Belgian employers can choose Scudi, a platform with which employees can anonymously request up to half of their wages as an advance. Research by iVOX on behalf of Scudi shows that 62 percent of employees do not dare to request an advance directly from the employer. However, 39 percent of employees report that they get into trouble at unexpected costs.
